1. Introduction  
Congratulations on your purchase of a Spotter 15-45x60 spotting  
scope. The Spotter is an amazing scope designed for hunting,  
shooting, wildlife observation and other outdoor activities.  
Optical Quality  
The Spotter will impress you with its optical excellence, featuring  
Broadband fully multi-coated optics for bright, detailed images.  
Caution:  
Spotting scopes are not intended for looking at the sun, or any  
other intense light source. Such viewing could damage the retina  
and cornea of your eyes—even to the point of causing blindness.

4. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS  
Set Up and Mounting  
1) Spread the tripod legs (A) and set the tripod on a firm support.  
Loosen the adjustment screw (H) to place mounting platform  
(C) in horizontal position, then rotate the screw to lock  
mounting platform.  
2) Position mounting shoe (D) of the spotting scope body on the  
platform (C) then tighten mounting screw (E) to firmly lock  
spotting scope body on the platform.  
3) Remove protective lens cap (F) on the objective (G) lens.  
5. STARTING OBSERVATION  
Usage with Fixed Power Eyepiece  
1. Loosen the adjustment screw (H) and point your scope  
objective lens to the target you want to view.  
2. Adjust the focus knob (K) until you get the clear image from  
your eyepiece lens.  
Usage with zoom eyepiece  
1. Loosen the adjustment screw (H) and point your scope  
objective lens to the target you want to view.  
2. Rotate the zoom ring (L) of the eyepiece to the lowest  
magnification.  
3. Adjust the focus knob (K) until you get the clear image from  
your eyepiece lens.  
4. Rotate the zoom ring (L) to the desired magnification and re-  
focus with focus knob (K) if necessary.

6. CARE FOR YOUR SPOTTING SCOPE  
To clean the lenses, use a soft bristle brush to whisk off  
dust and dirt and then use soft cloth moisture with  
alcohol. Wipe lenses from center outward and avoid  
touching the lens, as fingerprints will smear the lens.  
To clean body parts, use a soft cloth with warm water and  
a mild soap to remove dirt.  
Do not dismantle the spotting scope or the eyepieces. If  
they need repair or adjustment, please contact the dealer  
in your country.  
7. WARRANTY  
NEWCON warrants this product against defects in material and  
workmanship for one year from the date of the original purchase,  
but no more than 12 months from the date of manufacturing.  
Longer warranty is available, subject to the terms of the specific  
sales contract. Should your product prove to be defective during  
this period, please deliver the product securely packaged in its  
original container or an equivalent, along with the proof of the  
original purchase date.  
Newcon will repair (or at its option replace with the same or  
comparable model), the product or part thereof, which, on  
inspection by Newcon, is found to be defective in materials or  
workmanship.  
What This Warranty Does Not Cover:  
NEWCON is not responsible for warranty service should the  
product fail as a result of improper maintenance, misuse, abuse,  
improper installation, neglect, damage caused by disasters such as  
fire, flooding, lightning, improper power supply, or service other  
than by a NEWCON Authorized Service.  
Postage, insurance, and shipping costs incurred while presenting  
your product for warranty service are your responsibility.

At no time should equipment be sent back to Newcon without  
following the instructions of our technical support department.
